A: You must be at least 18 years of age and have a Michigan mailing address.
Q: What are Motown Pools?
A: These are 25 or 50 shares in each pool of Classic Lotto47 and Mega Millions.
Q: How are Pools numbers chosen?
A: Unless specified otherwise, they are Easy Picks and the lottery agent’s computer randomly selects these numbers when your tickets are purchased. The numbers are purchased in advance of the drawing so they can be entered and viewed on our website before the drawings. This is unlike other clubs whose own computers choose your numbers.
Q: How much of the winnings are paid out?
A: 100% of all winnings are paid out to all those who share winning numbers.
Q: How much does Motown Lottery Club, LLC charge to provide their service?
A: All you pay is the price shown on the order form plus a $3.00 one-time setup fee the first time you play. The price of your selection includes the cost of the tickets and the cost for all the other services and benefits offered by Motown Lottery Club, LLC. There are no other charges.
Q: Can I spread my selection?
A: For each selection, you can choose to have all your tickets be one game, Mega Millions or Classic Lotto47, or split your chances.
Q: Can I purchase multiple selections?
A: Yes, since we usually have several pools open, you may order a selection in any of our available pools. Motown Lottery Club, LLC makes sure that you are not assigned to any pool more than once, however, since the lotto ticket agent generates Easy Picks randomly, you may have duplicate numbers in different pools. The odds of this happening are low.
Q: What if I forget to check my numbers?
A: Motown Lottery Club, LLC automatically checks the numbers for every pool after every lottery drawing so you won't miss out on any of your winnings. Just log in to the member's area and review your selected numbers. Winning tickets will be highlighted.
Q: When will I receive my winnings?
A: Motown Lottery Club, LLC reports your winnings at the end of each selection on your Winnings Statement. You may request a check, apply the balance to your next selection, or let it accumulate for future use. You have a full year from the date of your last play to claim your winnings or use them towards another selection. If your share of the winnings is $50 or larger, Motown Lottery Club, LLC will automatically include a check with your Winnings Statement.
Q: How is the jackpot handled?
A: Motown Lottery Club, LLC will notify each winner by phone and certified letter along with a claim form to assure every winning member is paid his or her share.
Q: How can I confirm that the tickets have been purchased for each drawing?
A: At any time you may request a photocopy of any ticket purchased. Include a copy of your certificate with the set of numbers circled, along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope or your fax number. A fifty cents fee is charged per set of numbers requested. For further information see Legal.
